The Fulton County Retired Teachers Association presented replica checks for their service to the community to Ann King, Director of RSVP Services. Rochester Mayor Ted Denton will also receive a replica check.
Who were our “Top Volunteers” recognized at our July 7th award presentation? Pictured below are Linda Wade (582 volunteer hours), Ilene Howard (535 volunteer hours), Kay Horn (418 volunteer hours), Community Service chairperson Cheryl Downs, Katie McCarter, and Charlotte Miller. The Indiana Retired Teachers Association recognized members Linda Wade, Ilene Howard, and Kay Horn with Honorable Mention certificates for their outstanding volunteering efforts to the community.

Community Participation
The Rochester Lion’s Club celebrated the late Lion David Miller with his appointment of the coveted 2020 Melvin Jones Award. The pinnacle award in Lionism was established in 1973 in honor of Melvin Jones, the founder of Lion’s Club International. David was a vibrant member of the Lion’s with leadership roles with ramp building, ice cream sales, and vision testing for local pre-school and elementary students.
